According to the new instructions of the National Public Health Organization (valid since May 1st), regarding the measures about COVID-19, the event will now take place without the need for the presentation of certificates or rapid test. This means that everyone has the opportunity to attend #ADD22!
Three years and a pandemic later, ADD, Athens’s largest festival for contemporary electronic music, returns where it all started. On Friday 27th and Saturday 28th of May, hosted by Athens Epidaurus Festival, ADD takes over the industrial complex of Peiraios 260, and comes to the foreground again to defend its title as one of the most exciting up-and-coming dance music festivals of Europe.
For the first time ADD becomes a two-day Festival and will have a total duration of 32 hours (doors open at 19.00 in the afternoon and the music will close at 11.00 in the morning). Showcasing more than 43 artists from the elite of the world dance scene in three outdoor and indoor stages, specially designed peripheral spaces (lounge areas, cocktail bars and a modular food court, all carefully curated by six d.o.g.s), and of course the highest standards of audio and video production, ADD returns as a dance playground that will mark the beginning of summer.
ADD Cashless Experience by Visa
ADD 2022 is a Cashless Experience Festival. In this context and in collaboration with Visa, the ticket of each visitor comes in the form of a bracelet, which the visitor receives at the entrance of the Festival, upon successful display of the ticket. With the bracelet the visitor has the opportunity to pre-purchase the products he wants to consume during the festival, in a quick and easy way. The visitor can buy tokens which are equivalent to euros (1 token = 1€), and charge his bracelet. The charging of the bracelet can be done online (via addfestival.gr), from a mobile device (via a special app), as well as in the specially designed areas of the Festival.
The event will take place in accordance with the official health protection protocols against COVID-19 that will be in force during its implementation.
